1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no ties to a court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. It does not store official criminal records, submit filings, retrieve case documents, or perform official checks.

Its function is to identify the Dent County Sheriff, Circuit Court, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, Missouri Sex Offender Registry, and other official sources, while also providing access to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Every user agrees not to:

• Use the site in violation of federal, Missouri, or local law
• Threaten, stalk, or harass anyone with information found here
• Use site content for lending, insurance, employment, or housing decisions
• Access systems or data without authorization
• Operate bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against the pages
• Interfere with performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked service may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Missouri Sex Offender Registry data is published for lawful safety awareness. Using registry information to facilitate a crime can itself be illegal, and vigilantism or confrontation is prohibited.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Dent County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and creates no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a tool designed for regulated screening. Data from this site or a linked tool may not be used to:

• Make employment decisions
• Evaluate a housing application
• Set insurance terms or judge creditworthiness
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A legally regulated check must come through the appropriate official Missouri State Highway Patrol channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

The site provides general information, not legal advice. It cannot apply Missouri warrant, charge, conviction, or expungement law to a particular situation. Individual legal questions should go to a Missouri-licensed attorney.

6. No Warranties

All content is provided "as is," without a promise that:

• Partner search results will be complete or correctly matched
• Every page is accurate, complete, and current
• The service will remain continuously available
• The pages contain no error, defect, or security weakness

Charges, dispositions, closures, and expungements change the public record. Delays and gaps are unavoidable, so nothing here is an official statement by the Dent County Sheriff, a Missouri court, or another government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to court portals, the Sheriff's office, Missouri agencies, legal-aid organizations, and outside search services. Those destinations control their own content, prices, data practices, and availability. Review their terms before using them because this site is not responsible for an outside service.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Dent County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or used to create another work without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is not liable for harm arising from its use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked provider.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the site harmless from a claim, demand, or legal action caused by that user's conduct or violation of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Missouri law governs these terms, and a dispute connected with use of the site must be filed in a court located in Missouri. Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, and criminal-history reporting provisions in RSMo §§43.503 and 43.506 govern public bodies and repository records, not this private site's terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be changed at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated version is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be adjusted only to the extent needed for enforceability.
